After a long summer of not having events, we’ve decided we need to do something, anything! If like us you’ve had enough of sitting around twiddling your thumbs and waiting for the pandemic to be over then join us for our first ever virtual event.
We have teamed up with Stewart Brewing to bring you the Virtual Hop Run 10KM, because what’s sport without great refreshment?!
The Virtual Hop Run is a 10km run which can be done anywhere and anytime. However, we’d suggest that you head off road and get as muddy as you would do on the actual route for true authenticity. As extra incentive we have devised a new course which starts and finishes at the Stewart Brewing HQ, when you enter you’ll receive a confirmation email with a GPX file of the route and a written guide for those less techy!
The added benefit of completing the Stewart Brewing course is the brewery and tap room at the finish! You can collect your Virtual Hop Run medal in person (subject to opening hours) and grab some celebratory beers. Just show your proof of entry and completion to a staff member and try not to leave mud all over the floor!
If you choose to do your 10k elsewhere (please adhere to your local Covid-19 measures) then we will post your finishers medal to you on receipt of your proof of run. So hit the trails, your local park, up and down your garden or stay out of the rain and do it on the treadmill. We don’t mind, let’s all just get back to events in whatever way we can and as safely as we can.
Proof of completion: Drop us an email with your tracking app data / pics from your run to Hoprun@durtyevents.com or show a staff member at Stewart Brewing your tracking app data. Please ask someone else in your household to take the photo if you are on a treadmill, we don’t want to be responsible for any unfortunate incidents!
If you’re collecting your medal in person at Stewart Brewing, please show your Entry Central confirmation email, either on your phone or take a printed copy along, both will be accepted.
